Farm-to-Table Dining at the Artisan Restaurant, Tavern & Garden

Artisan Restaurant, Tavern & Garden is one of the very first “true” farm-to-table concept restaurants. Not familiar with the idea? A farm-to-table dinner is a meal that's prepared on-site with ingredients sourced from our farm and other local producers—over 20 local farms, to be exact.

 

 

Hello from your favorite team at The Four Columns!
We are excited to announce the entire renovation of our facilities both inside our restaurant and Inn. This does come with the disappointing news of subsequently announcing our closure due to the nature of the renovations planned. We are hoping to reopen by the return of the coming summer season and will do our absolute best to accommodate all reservation inquiries during this time.

Artisan Restaurant

Artisan Restaurant celebrates the agriculture and food craftspeople of Vermont, sourcing ingredients from over 20 local farms. Executive Chef Frederic Kieffer and team, orchestrate operations and create seasonal exceptional food, served in our elegant dining room full of modern country charm. 

Tavern & Garden

The Tavern & Garden is a cozy and casual gathering place with a large flat-panel TV for sports and weekly live music where friends can hang out. The bar features an impressive variety of local beer and hard cider, small batch wines and cocktails. In the summer months, we have two outdoor dining areas with our patio overlooking the gardens and ponds, plus a small courtyard in front of the restaurant, both serving al fresco dining.
